Bharti Airtel Appoints Drew Kelton as President - Enterprises Services
New Delhi, April 30, 2010: Bharti Airtel, one of Asia’s leading integrated telecom service providers, today announced the appointment of Drew Kelton as President –Enterprise Services (India & South Asia). As President of the Enterprise Services unit, Drew’s key focus would be to lead the transformation of the business to create a world class business-to-business (B2B) organisation. He will report to Sanjay Kapoor, CEO (India & South Asia), Bharti Airtel.
Commenting on the appointment, Sanjay Kapoor said, “We are delighted to have Drew on board and his appointment is in line with our philosophy to bring in the best of global talent. In his new leadership role at Bharti Airtel, Drew will build on the existing capabilities and strengthen the international data services business to ensure Airtel continues to be the preferred enterprise solutions provider to top corporates”.
Drew has over 29 years of work experience and has handled various international assignments based out of Europe, Australia and Asia. Prior to joining Bharti, Drew was associated with Australia’s leading telco Telstra where he was responsible for international operations in Telstra Retail and credited for turning around the international business. Before Telstra he was with Global Crossing - a leading global IP solutions provider in addition to being an entrepreneur founder of Saturn Global Networks, a company focused on delivering managed network solutions.
